Jacob Talbot is a multidisciplinary artist working across analogue and digital photography, sculpture, and large-scale installation. His practice explores quiet connections between nature, self, and spirit, creating contemplative environments that invite stillness, reflection, and reconnection.
A First-Class Honours graduate of BA Photography from Leeds Arts University (2021), Talbot’s work has quickly gained international recognition from collectors and curators.
His commercial practice has been exhibited worldwide, with strong collector bases in the UK, US and Asia. Represented by galleries in London and Canada, as well as at international art fairs, his work continues to grow an engaged audience.
He is a recipient of The Signature Art Prize and has also been shortlisted for the Aesthetica Art Prize, giving him his first institutional showing at York Art Gallery. Other than international art fairs his work has been shown in South Korea and recently been nominated for the BBA One Shot Award in Berlin.
Alongside Talbot’s photographic practice, his large scale sculptural and immersive installations have also been well received, with multiple shows in London & Leeds, work in sculpture gardens & trails, and most recently a large-scale commission for Kirkstall Abbey’s Mindfulness Festival.
