Exhibitions 2016/17

Linda Blackstone Gallery started the Autumn Season with a three day exhibition in the City of Manchester. Buy Art. We exhibited the beautiful large stone sculpture of Paul Vanstone along with the ever popular ceramic sculpture by Yorkshire sculptor Eoghan Bridge and bronzes by Belgium sculptor Helene Jacubowitz. Stand 36 also exhibited internationally renowned artists in Manchester for the first time. Visitors enjoyed highly original new work by Israeli Pop Artist Dganit Blechner, wall sculpture by French artist Bernard Saint-Maxent, Street art by french artist Sebastien Levigne, photo-realism oil paintings by Paul Kavanagh and exquisite acrylic on board still life paintings by Australian artist Ian Mastin. The Exhibition was a great success and all our artists were so well received.

From 19-23 October we were back on Stand i12 at the Autumn Edition of the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea Park where we exhibited new work by PHIL ATRILL RCA MA., EOGHAN BRIDGE, MARTIN BROWN, CHRISTA HUNTER, HELENE JACUBOWITZ, PENELOPE LEE, SEBASTIEN LEVIGNE, J RICHARD PLINCKE RI., BERNARD SAINT-MAXENT and ROSA SEPPLE VPRI. All these artists were well received and sold well during the week. This year we  introduced two new artists to our team of talented artists KATHRYN DAVEY and ALISON TYLDESLEY. Both Kathryn and Alison sold out all the work they had sent us and Kathryn had to empty her studio to enable us to have more work on show over the weekend. These sold too!!!! Well done Alison and Kathryn and welcome to the Linda Blackstone Gallery team of talented artists.

From 17-20 November we are back in beautiful but rainy Singapore to exhibit at AAF SINGAPORE 2016. We exhibited new work by: DGANIT BLECHNER, EOGHAN BRIDGE, ANNE-MARIE BUTLIN, KATHRYN DAVEY, PAUL KAVANAGH, COLIN KENT RI., SEBASTIEN LEVIGNE, IAN MASTIN, BERNARD SAINT-MAXENT, ROSA SEPPLE VPRI., JACQUIE TURNER and ALISON TYLDESLEY. 11,000 visitors came through the doors of the F1 Pit Building over the three days of the exhibition. My grandson Jacob and I met so many new customers and our artists all sold well. We hope to return next November 2017.

Looking forward to welcoming our American friends to Booth 1.13 this week!! We are already here in the Big Apple preparing for the show. See you all soon.
