Anne-Marie was born in 1965 and lives and works in North London.
Since leaving Loughborough College of Art she has exhibited widely with work in many group exhibitions and art fairs including The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Royal Society of Watercolours Annual Exhibition. She had a long association with The Art Group who published her paintings as ranges of cards and posters and her work has been showcased in a number of exhibitions (several with Linda Blackstone). She has previously combined her painting career with art teaching. Having had a six year break to have children, she is now painting on a full time basis.
Her inspiration comes from the things she loves; everyday objects, flowers, patterns, local landscapes. Colours are subtle, and close tones give the paintings a feeling of quiet and calm.
